About Us
Who I am:
My name is Ted Sholette and I’ve lived in Norman for 22 years.  I recently retired as a
Navy Chief after 22 years.  I have an extensive background in construction, with 16
years as a Navy Builder.  Squared-Away Handyman is a family run business,
employing my two sons, Sam and Spencer.  My oldest son, Sam, is also Navy
trained and
served with the Navy seabees for 8 years as a Builder.  He was deployed
with the Seabees for a
2 tours in Iraq and just completed his enlistment.  Spencer,
just joined the Navy Seabee's and
is a Builder also. He is currently a Builder 3rd
class.

Experience:
A few of the projects I have planned and completed are:  built 3 1/2 car garage,
roofed several houses, built storage sheds, placed concrete, converted garages,
caulked windows and doors, painted interiors/exteriors, hung wallpaper, built
wooden decks, constructed tree houses, remodeled bathrooms, cleaned and
organized garages, as well as built patios, gutted and remodeled house's.

Previously owned Ted’s Workshop, specializing in antique furniture repair.

History:
Squared-Away is a Navy term suggesting organization and perfection.  My goal is to
provide you with the highest level of customer service.  I take pride in my work and
have always believed in leaving things a little bit better than when I found them.  Our
business was established in July 2006 and has prospered.  Together, we provide
over 40 years of handyman/construction experience.
