
| Who I am: My name is Ted Sholette and I’ve lived in Norman for 21 years. I recently retired as a Navy Chief after 22 years. I have an extensive background in construction, with 16 years as a Navy Builder. Squared-Away Handyman is a family run business, employing my two sons, Sam and Spencer. My oldest son, Sam, is also Navy trained and is currently a Builder in the Navy Reserves. He was deployed with the Seabees for a tour in Iraq and will be departing soon for a second tour to help rebuild the war torn country. Spencer, my younger son, is in high school and is learning construction by on-the-job-training. Training: 2 year vocational carpentry school Navy Seabee Builder "A" School Licensed Home Inspector Experience: A few of the projects I have planned and completed are: built 3 1/2 car garage, roofed several houses, built storage sheds, placed concrete, converted garages, caulked windows and doors, painted interiors/exteriors, hung wallpaper, built wooden decks, constructed tree houses, remodeled bathrooms, cleaned and organized garages, as well as built patios. Other experience: Previous licensed Home Inspector Previously owned Ted’s Workshop, specializing in antique furniture repair. History: Squared-Away is a Navy term suggesting organization and perfection. My goal is to provide you with the highest level of customer service. I take pride in my work and have always believed in leaving things a little bit better than when I found them. Our business was established in July 2006 and has prospered. Together, we provide over 40 years of handyman/construction experience. |
